Overview: Church Discipline

Adopted by the Servants Council on May 30, 2026.

This book holds Mayflower Church's framework for formative and corrective discipline. It exists to protect the flock, restore the wandering, and shepherd accountability with clarity and compassion — never to punish, shame, or exclude.

The framework defines who has authority to discipline, the biblical pattern (Matthew 18, 1 Corinthians 5, Galatians 6), the step-by-step process, restoration pathways, and how discipline is documented and communicated. Pastors, elders, deacons, and ministry leaders should read this before any discipline conversation begins.
