Role Summary
| Purpose | Preside over all business meetings of the Church, ensuring orderly proceedings, fair participation, and proper adherence to parliamentary procedure. |
| Accountable To | Congregation |
| Term of Service | 3 years; may be an Elder; minimum biannual meetings |
| Selection Process | Nominated by Nominating Team, elected by Church Members |
| Time Commitment | 5-10 hours/year |
Qualifications
Church Member in good standing; well versed in parliamentary procedures and Roberts Rules of Order.
Key Responsibilities
- Preside over all business meetings of the Church
- Be well versed in parliamentary procedures
- Conduct the business meetings of the Church in an orderly fashion according to Roberts Rules of Order
